Testimonies-whiteband.org is the ‘people’s portal’ where GCAP constituents and the general public users can log-in to share their stories, photos and other digital content. The focus is not on economic analysis; but rather, the human, first-hand accounts of experiences with poverty or the struggle to abolish it. On this website, will be displayed personal stories and visuals on the movement’s core issues: poverty and inequality, accountability, debt, aid, trade and gender.

GCAP campaign

GCAP is a growing alliance of trade unions, community groups, faith groups, women and youth organisations, NGOs and other campaigners working together across more than 100 national platforms. GCAP demands solutions that address the issues of public accountability, just governance and the fulfilment of human rights; trade justice; a major increase in the quantity and quality of aid and financing for development; and debt cancellation. GCAP also affirms that gender equality must also be at the heart of eradicating poverty.
